General Questions

General questions for parents looking to enroll their child(ren) in RockFish Church Preschool.

Is there a discount available?

Discounts are available for families with multiple children enrolled at our school.

Payment invoices will be sent by email on the 1st of each month.

Online payments can be made using the links provided in the invoice. Transaction fees are associated with all credit and debit card payments.

You can also pay via check made payable to RockFish Church with your child’s name listed on the memo line.

Payments can be sent by mail, or paid in person in the church administrative office during the business hours of Monday – Thursday 9AM-2PM.

Yes, full-time and part-time options are available. 

Full-time Monday – Thursday  8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for $275 monthly.

Part-time Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for $140 monthly

Payment options can be discussed with our finance department. We are here to work with you.

Our teachers are preparing their classrooms for school and will be happy to greet your child at 8:25. School begins at 8:30. If you plan to arrive outside of the typical “drop off” time please text/call the designated person within your child’s class with an update of your child’s arrival.

We ask that you contact the office or designated person within your child’s class as soon as possible. Situations do arise….Pick up time is 12:00PM. After 12:05PM, a $5 late charge is incurred and $10 for each additional 10 minutes. Late charges are to be paid by the 1st of the following month or your child will not be able to attend preschool.

Yes. All three and four year olds must be potty trained to attend school.

Celebrating your child is important to us at RockFish Church Preschool as well as celebrating the holidays. We ask that you coordinate with your child’s teacher(s) as well as the site coordinator in advance.

Yes. Up-to-date immunizations are required.

Children will remain active throughout the school day. We believe children learn best through active play, therefore, instructional time at the table will be limited and with a specific learning goal in mind. Children will spend a minimum of 30 minutes outside for play.

STEM experiments are conducted regularly within our classroom to instill in children a natural curiosity for science, technology, engineering and math skills, within a quality learning environment.

In consideration of families with active duty military or other mobile careers, please provide the following:

Two weeks written notice is required if a child is withdrawing from the Preschool program. A Notice of Intent to Withdraw form is available from the Preschool Director’s office. If written notice is not received, parents/guardians are still required to make tuition payments.

RockFish Church Preschool in Raeford site will follow the Hoke County School Traditional Calendar.

This will also include holidays, school closures due to inclement weather and emergency closing.

Snack time is a wonderful time for children to talk, laugh and build a strong bond of friendship. Parents provide snacks for their children. With that stated, some parents provide a full lunch with a sandwich and snack, other children bring Lunchables, fruit, granola bars, chips. We do ask in addition to your child bringing food to eat, there also be a water bottle or juice provided.
